When you book online or via phone with Aus Auto Detailing, you should read and agree to the terms and conditions of the booking prior to making an appointment. Once an appointment has been made, you are bound under the terms and conditions herein.
  • Being a mobile service, we come to you expecting to have the following: an ample amount of space to perform our service, permission to be on premises if you are not the owner and a safe location as well as safe conditions to service your vehicle. If we arrive and the previous mentioned conditions are not met we reserve the right to reschedule the service at a later time/date that works for both parties.
  • Please have all personal items or valuables removed from the vehicle before our professional detailer arrive as we are not responsible for lost or damaged items. All items found in the vehicle will be placed in a plastic bag and left in the vehicle for your reclaiming. This may include any trash left behind in the vehicle too.
  • We will not remove, move, or replace any type of child seat or restraint system. We ask that our customers remove child seats and booster seats before we arrive. Should the child seat be left in the vehicle, we will do our best to clean around the car seat but can’t promise your total satisfaction.
  • All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes. Any damage claims as a result of cleaning will be limited to the cost of the service.
  • We cannot guarantee any firm times when accepting your booking.
  • Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash team will conduct an inspection prior to the detailing. The inspection done are reflected in our official form which you need to sign if you agree with the result and the price.
  • Our detailing times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfill the detailing type. We will make every attempt to start or arrive within the time scheduled, however we allow a 30 minutes grace window as each vehicle and customer is different and may require more or less time to fulfill the detailing service.
  • We reserve the right to use any independent contractor to undertake your auto detailing and may need to change the detailer at short notice.
  • Whilst every effort will be made to keep regular bookings to the same day and time each week, sometimes it may be necessary to make changes but we will endeavor to communicate the changes prior to arrival.
  • We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and /or machinery or equipment failure.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or deny any booking or continue with their service if they deem the customer to be unreasonable or unsafe.
  • All orders placed require address, contact details, email address, service and vehicle condition verification. Service requests are not guaranteed at time of booking and may be cancelled at any time at the sole discretion of Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash. Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked detailing.
  • You will always be treated with respect. Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviors be encountered.
  • Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition and the type of vehicle.
  • Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash reserves the right to amend any price during the detailing should it differ from the original estimate.
  • Prices online include GST that apply to services.
  • We accept cash and all major credit cards except American Express. For bank transfer, we only accept from company.
  • Invoices and receipts will be rendered by Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash to the customer via email once the services have been completed.
  • Aus Auto Detailing & Car Wash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Your detailing bookings are very important to Aus Auto Detailing. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. As a common courtesy to everyone, we would greatly appreciate a 48-hour (2 days) notice prior to cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. The cancellation/rescheduling policy gives us time to inform our wait list clients of any availability. In this way, another customer may have an opportunity to grab your existing time-slot. The following terms and conditions apply to all appointments.

  • We require 48 hours (2 days) notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment or service.
  • In the case of booking an appointment within 48 hours and you plan to cancel or reschedule your booking, we require 24-hour (1 day) notice.
  • In the case of booking an appointment within 24 hours and you plan to cancel or reschedule your booking, we require 12-hour notice.
  • For booking made more than 48 hours: If you like to cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than 48 hours, you will incur a charge of 25% of the service cost.
  • For booking made within 48 hours: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than 24 hours, you will incur a charge of 25% of the service cost.
  • For booking made within 24 hours:  If you cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than 12 hours, you will incur a charge of 25% of the service cost.
  • If you cancel or reschedule on the same day of your booked appointment without any weather disruption, you will incur a charge of 50% of the service cost. 
  • If the detailers are already on the site and you decide to cancel or reschedule without any weather disruption or failure to be present at the time and location, you will incur a charge of 100% of the service cost.
  • In the case of bad weather condition and you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking without enough notice (failure to provide 48 hours, 24 hours and 12 hours notice), you will not be charged.
  • Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know.
  • Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule in accordance with its staff levels, weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.
  • Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Applicable Vehicles

New & Used Vehicles (within 5 years old; as per manufacturing date) with Clear Coated Paint Finishes.

Type of Cover –

Aus Auto Detailing warrants the vehicles exterior painted surface coated with ceramic coating under the existing Terms & Conditions from environmentally - caused pollutants such as; road tar, tree sap, bird droppings, bug contamination. Should the latter proceed to damage, and providing that all the terms and conditions have been compliant, Aus Auto Detailing will rectify the damage based on the “Limit of Liability”.

Period of Cover & Conditions–

The warranty will be terminated after 4 years.

General Conditions –

  1. Warranty cover is only valid if the customer has applied for Warranty Cover by completing the Warranty Application Form and submitting it after the service is done within 14 days.
  2. The vehicle must remain at all times registered for road use within Australia.
  3. Only vehicles registered as Passenger Vehicles will be warranted. Commercial vehicles of any kind will not be covered.
  4. In the occurrence of repair or damage to the painted surface, such as from a car accident, the vehicle must be re-treated with a ceramic coating to the damaged area at the owner’s expense within 45 days of the occurrence.
  5. Warranty is only available to the name of the vehicle owner at the time of the instalment and cannot be transferred over to a new owner.
  6. Original Application Receipt must be kept for proof of application.
  7. Should a product reapplication be required (eg. vehicle accident) you or your insurer are liable for a reapplication fee, determined by the approved applicator.
  8. The vehicle exterior paintwork must be maintained and washed regularly to Aus Auto Detailing recommendations ie washed fortnightly/monthly with the right equipment and supplies. This ensures that proper washing techniques, products and standards are performed each time without hindering the performance of the paint protection.
  9. Application is best suited to an indoor setting, although can be performed in an outdoor setting eg. driveway upon request from the customer. The customer assumes all responsibility and risk dependent on the location settings. The option is available to opt for an alternative location for more favourable conditions, given that at least 24 hours’ notice has been provided.
  10. Vehicle must be taken back to the original approved applicator for any Warranty concerns, should the applicator no longer be in business or you have moved out of area you must seek approval from Aus Auto Detailing prior to taking it to another approved applicator.

Exclusions –

  1. Where the owner has deemed to have been careless, negligent or fails to maintain the exterior painted surface in the correct manner ie, not washing their car regularly, allowing pollutants to bake on to the surface for extended periods.
  2. Pre-existing damage to the painted surface.
  3. Damage to the coated surface by incorrect manual wash techniques, automatic car washes, brushes or contaminated wash tools that may cause abrasion, or damage caused by a third party not authorised by Aus Auto Detailing.
  4. Swirl marks, marring, scratches, scuffs, scrapes, chips, paint transfer.
  5. Water spots – Water spots are caused by hard water (mineral deposits) which have been left to dry on the paint for extended periods and leave a stain (negligence).
  6. Failed Clear Coat – Peeling, Hazing and Fading.
  7. Damage caused by collision, accidental damage, vandalism, malicious damage, fire, hail, flood, stones, surface rust, rail dust, physical damage, paint overspray, water spots or vehicle manufacturer’ defects, or defects which may be covered under a manufacturers or dealerships protection plan.
  8. Areas that have not been retreated after a paint repair.
  9. Any loss of time or use of the vehicle while it undergoes inspections or treatments.

Limit of Liability (Claims) –

  1. Damage that may be covered under this warranty must be made aware to Aus Auto Detailing within 14 days of the occurrence, failure to comply will result in this warranty being terminated.
  2. A claim “Inspection Fee” of AUD $95 is payable to the “Approved Applicator”. However, this is refunded if the Warranty Claim is “Approved” for repair.
  3. The claim of Warranty is determined at the sole discretion of Aus Auto Detailing. Either rejecting the claim or approving the repair by an “Approved Applicator”. However, if “Approved” once inspection has been completed and all conditions have been met under the Terms & Conditions, only the affected area of the Owner’s Vehicle will be recoated to a maximum value of AUD $1,000 (whichever is less). After recoating, the Warranty is terminated and no longer valid.
  4. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, the involved parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of that State.


Warranty Application Form

  • Aus Auto Detailing will send you text messages or email to confirm your service request, remind you of your appointment, notify you of your invoice and receipts, and acknowledgement of your cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment.
  • Aus Auto Detailing may provide your order request to any detailer within our network or out of our network to fulfill your request in a timely manner.
  • When your service request is matched to a provider, your name, phone number, service address and vehicle information will be shared with that service provider.
  • Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • Gift Vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from date of purchase, and bookings must be made within this period. Upon expiry of a Gift Voucher any unused value is forfeited.
  • Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to purchase other gift vouchers. Cannot be exchanged.
  • Vouchers can be refunded only within 14 days from the date of purchase. The refund will be electronically transferred to your account.
  • Gift Vouchers can only be used once per vehicle per service.
  • Gift Vouchers cannot be combined or redeemed with additional promotions.
  • Additional charges may apply to the redeemer if they choose a package that exceeds the cash value of their gift vouchers.
  • Additional charges of $65 apply if your car has excessive dirt, mud, stain, grease, sand, dog hair, tree sap and red soil. 
  • Aus Auto Detailing retains the right to reject any voucher that has been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.
  • We are not responsible if a Gift Voucher is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
  • Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • Once you used your voucher, the one received by email, you need to sign the form and return to Aus Auto Detailing. For the voucher received by post, you have to return the signed tear-off part to Aus Auto Detailing.
  • When buying voucher online, you must fill in your information correctly.
  • If you purchase the gift voucher and choose to deliver it by post, you will receive it within 5 working days. 
  • If there is probable and clear cause that the service detailer did not fulfill the package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will at our cost redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service free of charge.
  • Any claims must be filed within 48 hours of the completion of the service by phone or email. Pictures of the area must be emailed to info@ausautodetailing.com.au within 24 hours of the claim being made.
  • Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • It is difficult to find pre-existing damages during the initial vehicle inspection, some vehicles, tend to have interior components that are broken, scratched, worn out, faded, don’t work or become loose and cracked without the owner’s knowledge, therefore should Aus Auto Detailing representative find any items that are not working properly, worn, scratched, cracked, faded, or broken, we will bring it to your attention, therefore you agree not to hold Aus Auto Detailing responsible for any pre-existing damages to your vehicle.
  • Dirt can hide swirl marks, scratches, dents, paint chips, fine lines and marks, should Aus Auto Detailing representative find any exterior imperfections, we will make you aware, however Aus Auto Detailing will not be responsible for correcting these pre-existing paint imperfections if your service does not include it. Aus Auto Detailing will not be held responsible should we find pre-existing paint imperfection during our normal course of detailing that you were not aware of.
  • Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
