Paint correction is the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle, mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true and proper, clean, sharp, reflection. These imperfections include things like swirl marks & fine scratches, bird dropping etching & acid rain etching, hologramming & buffer trails, and random isolated deep scratches (or RIDS).
WE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING PAINT CORRECTION SERVICES:
THE PROCESS:
Step 1: Wash Process followed by Clay Bar
Step 2: Wet Sanding (if needed)
Step 3: Buffing & Polishing
Step 4: Removes all polish residue
Step 5: Waxing the Vehicle
SERVICES INCLUDED:
Stage 1 Paint Correction is a single-stage polishing process designed to enhance the gloss and clarity of paintwork that is already in good condition. It involves the use of one type of polish and pad combination to remove light imperfections and bring out a deeper shine.
This service is ideal for vehicles with minimal defects that simply require a light refinement to restore a vibrant, polished finish.
Once the correction is complete, a high-quality wax or paint sealant is applied to protect the surface and maintain its enhanced appearance.
(estimated time: 1 - 2 Hours)
SERVICES INCLUDED:
Stage 2 Paint Correction is designed for vehicles with moderate paint imperfections, including marring, light to moderate scratches, swirl marks, and faded or oxidized paint. This process uses two stages of machine polishing with different compound and pad combinations to restore clarity and gloss.
The first step involves a cutting compound paired with a cutting pad to remove defects such as marring, swirl marks, and surface scratches. This is followed by a finishing polish and soft pad to further refine the paintwork, eliminating any remaining haze, marring, or holograms from the initial stage.
To complete the process, a high-quality wax or paint sealant is applied to protect the newly corrected surface and enhance its shine.
(estimated time: 2 - 3 Hours)
SERVICES INCLUDED:
Stage 3 Paint Correction is ideal for vehicles with significant paint imperfections, such as deep scratches, heavy swirl marks, and other surface defects. This advanced process involves three stages of machine polishing, using different combinations of compounds and pads.
The process begins with an aggressive cutting compound and heavy-cutting pad to remove deeper scratches and pronounced swirl marks. The second stage uses a medium-cut polish and polishing pad to further refine the paint and eliminate remaining defects. Finally, a finishing polish and soft pad are used to enhance gloss and achieve a swirl-free, hologram-free finish.
For more severe defects, spot wet sanding may be performed as needed. Upon completion, a high-quality wax or paint sealant is applied to protect the restored paintwork.
(estimated time: 4 - 7 Hours)
