How long does ceramic coating last?

Depending on the product, ceramic coating can last anywhere from 3 to 9 years with proper care.

Can I wax my car after a ceramic coating?

Waxing is not necessary after ceramic coating, but if desired, only use products that are ceramic-safe.

Do you apply paint protection film (PPF)?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer it.

Is paint protection worth it?

Yes, especially for new or recently corrected vehicles. It maintains the vehicle’s gloss and eases maintenance.

After applying ceramic coating, does my vehicle still need maintenance?

Yes, while ceramic coating significantly reduces the need for frequent polishing and protects your vehicle from contaminants, it still requires regular maintenance to keep it performing at its best. We recommend gentle washing every 1–2 weeks using pH-neutral car shampoo, avoiding automatic car washes, and scheduling an annual inspection or top-up to extend the coating’s lifespan. Proper care will ensure your vehicle stays glossy and protected for years.

Does ceramic coating come with a warranty?

Yes, we offer ceramic coating warranties ranging from 5 to 9 years, depending on the product used.

After ceramic coating is applied, do you need to inspect the paint regularly?

Yes, we come to you to inspect your vehicle every 12 months during the warranty period. This includes maintenance and costs $95, including GST. You will receive a reminder from us when your inspection is due. Please note that failure to complete the annual inspection may void the warranty.

How long should I wait to wash my car after applying ceramic coating?

Many people don't realize that the first wash is the most important one to get right. After getting a ceramic coating, you should always follow the golden rule: don't wash your car for 7 days. It would be best to give the coating enough time to fully cure on your car. You should aim for a minimum of one wash every two weeks.
