Your detailing bookings are very important to Aus Auto Detailing. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. As a common courtesy to everyone, we would greatly appreciate a 48-hour (2 days) notice prior to cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. The cancellation/rescheduling policy gives us time to inform our wait list clients of any availability. In this way, another customer may have an opportunity to grab your existing time-slot. The following terms and conditions apply to all appointments.
- We require 48 hours (2 days) notice to cancel or reschedule your booking.
- In the case of booking an appointment within 48 hours and you plan to cancel or reschedule your booking, we require 24-hour (1 day) notice.
- For bookings made more than 48 hours in advance: If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than 48 hours without any weather disruption, you will incur a charge of 50% of the estimated service cost.
- For bookings made within 48 hours: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than 24 hours without any weather disruption, you will incur a charge of 50% of the estimated service cost.
- If the detailers are already on the site and you decide to cancel or reschedule without any weather disruption, or if you are not present at the agreed time and location, or the vehicle cannot reasonably be accessed for the booked service, you will incur a charge of 80% of the estimated service cost.
- The cancellation and rescheduling charges set out in this policy are not intended to operate as a penalty. They represent a genuine pre-estimate of the costs and losses likely to be incurred by Aus Auto Detailing arising from late cancellation, rescheduling or non-attendance, including labour scheduling, travel costs, administration costs, equipment allocation and loss of booking opportunities. These charges will not exceed the reasonable costs and losses incurred by Aus Auto Detailing as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or non-attendance.
- Where the actual costs and losses incurred by Aus Auto Detailing are less than the applicable charge, Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to reduce the charge accordingly.
- In the case of bad weather conditions and you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking without enough notice (failure to provide 48 hours and 24 hours notice), you will not be charged.
- Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to weather conditions, staff illness, staff availability, equipment failure, safety concerns, vehicle access issues, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- Where reasonably practicable, Aus Auto Detailing will provide advance notice of any cancellation or rescheduling and will use reasonable efforts to offer a mutually convenient alternative appointment.
- If Aus Auto Detailing cancels a booking and the customer chooses not to accept a rescheduled appointment, the customer will be entitled to a refund of any amount paid for services not provided.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred on a consumer by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
- Aus Auto Detailing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
- Any amendments will be published on the Aus Auto Detailing website and will apply only to bookings made after the amended terms become effective.
- No amendment will affect a booking that has already been confirmed unless required by law or agreed
with the customer.
