1. Mobile Service Requirements
As a mobile detailing service, we require:

• Safe and lawful access to the vehicle.
• Sufficient space to perform the booked services.
• Permission to be on the premises where the vehicle is located.
• Safe working conditions, including appropriate weather conditions and access to water or power where required.

Where water or power is required for the booked service, the customer must provide reasonable access unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If these requirements are not met, we may need to reschedule the booking. Any rescheduling will be discussed with you and arranged within a reasonable timeframe.

Outdoor services may be delayed, suspended or rescheduled where weather conditions would compromise safety, service quality or the proper application of detailing products.

2. Personal Property

Customers are responsible for removing valuables, cash, electronics and personal belongings from the vehicle before the appointment.
While we take reasonable care, Aus Auto Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle unless caused by our negligence or failure to exercise reasonable care.

Any items found during detailing may be placed in a bag and left in the vehicle.

3. Child Seats and Safety Restraints

For safety and insurance reasons, our staff do not remove, reinstall or adjust child restraints or booster seats.
Customers should remove child seats prior to the appointment if cleaning underneath or behind the seat is required. If child seats remain installed, we will clean around them where reasonably possible.

4. Vehicle Condition

Customers acknowledge that detailing may reveal pre-existing defects including scratches, paint damage, stone chips, worn trim, faded surfaces or previous repair work that was not visible due to dirt, contamination or oxidation.

Aus Auto Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects.

Cleaning, paint correction, polishing and detailing processes may reveal pre-existing defects, damage, wear, deterioration or prior repairs that were not visible before work commenced. The discovery of such defects does not constitute damage caused by Aus Auto Detailing.

Vehicles containing excessive mould, bodily fluids, animal waste, insects, vermin, needles, hazardous substances or other biohazards may be refused service or may incur additional charges where specialised cleaning procedures, equipment or protective measures are required.

Where our staff identify obvious concerns before commencing work, we may document them and discuss them with you before proceeding.

5. Pre-Service Inspection

We may conduct a visual inspection of the vehicle before commencing work and record its condition using photographs and/or written notes.

Aus Auto Detailing may take photographs of the vehicle before, during and after the service for quality assurance, condition reporting, training, insurance, operational and dispute resolution purposes.

Where requested, customers may review and acknowledge the inspection findings before work begins.

6. Booking Times

Appointment times are estimates only.

Although we will make reasonable efforts to attend within the scheduled timeframe, factors outside our control including traffic, weather, prior appointments and vehicle condition may affect arrival and completion times.

Customers should allow a reasonable arrival window of up to 30 minutes either side of the scheduled time.

7.Rescheduling and Cancellation

Customers must provide notice of cancellation or rescheduling in accordance with Aus Auto Detailing's Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy as published on our website from time to time.

Customers should also review our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable cancellation or rescheduling charges are set out in that policy and will not exceed the reasonable costs and losses incurred by Aus Auto Detailing as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or non-attendance.

Customers must ensure the vehicle is available and reasonably accessible at the agreed time and location. Failure to provide access to the vehicle may be treated as a cancellation or non-attendance under the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.

Where cancellation or rescheduling is required due to adverse weather conditions that would reasonably affect the safety or quality of the service, cancellation charges may be waived in accordance with the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.

Aus Auto Detailing may reschedule a booking where necessary due to:

• Unsafe weather conditions;
• Equipment failure;
• Staff illness;
• Vehicle access issues; or
• Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where we reschedule a booking, we will contact you as soon as practicable and arrange an alternative appointment.

If Aus Auto Detailing cancels a booking and an alternative appointment cannot be agreed, customers will be entitled to a refund of any amount paid for services not provided.

For recurring bookings, we will endeavour to maintain the agreed schedule. However, operational requirements, weather conditions or staffing availability may occasionally require changes to appointment times. Reasonable notice will be provided wherever practicable.

8. Customer Conduct

Our staff have the right to work in a safe environment.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or unsafe behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated. We may refuse or discontinue services where such behaviour occurs.

9. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where:

• Safety risks exist;
• The vehicle condition presents a health or safety hazard;
• The requested work is outside the scope of the booked service;
• The customer provides false or misleading information; or
• We are otherwise legally entitled to refuse service.

Services are limited to the scope described in the booking confirmation or quotation. Additional work requested by the customer may be declined, deferred or quoted separately at our discretion.

10. Subcontractors

Aus Auto Detailing may engage qualified employees, contractors or subcontractors to perform services on its behalf. Any person engaged to perform services will be required to comply with applicable laws, industry standards and these Terms and Conditions.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to remedies where services are not provided with due care and skill, are not fit for their disclosed purpose, or do not meet other consumer guarantees required by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Aus Auto Detailing is liable only for loss or damage that is reasonably foreseeable and directly caused by our breach of contract, negligence, or failure to comply with applicable consumer laws.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee, statutory right, or remedy that cannot be lawfully excluded.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any amendments will be published on our website and will apply only to bookings made after the amended Terms become effective, unless otherwise required by law or agreed with the customer.
